Atmosphere on Mars
So this follow from following quote:
One possibility is that it might have been lost to space from
the top of the atmosphere — a phenomenon that NASA's
Curiosity rover has found evidence of in the past.

I am wondering about this - we are created as a solar system
from compressing gas or clouds - but one possible path of
planetary evolution is for the " gas " or clouds
to "evaporate " into space.
Is that a process itself? < not sure about this > but
seems interesting.
